The independently organized, student-run forum — which bore the motto “ReinspirED, ReimaginED, RedesignED and ReconnectED” — featured 18-minute innovative presentations on a range of education topics. TEDx events are based on one connecting thread: ideas worth spreading.
Participating schools included Assets, Iolani, Le Jardin Academy, Kaiser, Kamehameha, Moanalua, Punahou and St. John Vianney Parish.
Topics ranged from learning with ADHD to how fourth graders designed a virtual backyard pool as part of a math project.
Videos of the presentations will be posted online sometime later this month. In the meantime, check out organizer Amy Burvall‘s Storify page to see footage and various social media tidbits from the event.
