Kissel is well known within Hawaii’s energy sector, most recently for leading the effort to begin imports of liquefied natural gas to the state.
He plans to focus his time on ways to lower the cost of doing business in Hawaii, according to the press release.
Moy began her career in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in New York. She worked on the acquisition of Hawaii Gas on behalf of its parent company, Macquarie Infrastructure Co., in 2005 and 2006.

“Among the high priority matters our team will be addressing is the continued diversification of our fuel supply. We will also be concentrating on the further development of our liquefied natural gas and renewable natural gas initiatives to further provide the people of Hawaii with clean, cost-effective and reliable gas energy,” said Ms. Moy.
