Schatz Names New Campaign Manager

Sen. Brian Schatz’s campaign announced its new campaign manager today — Clay Schroers, a former aide to Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hanneman.

Schroers, a native of Oahu, has managed a number of congressional races, including most recently, New York Rep. Dan Maffei’s successful run for Congress in 2012.

Schatz, in a statement, said,  “He is a seasoned manager with a deep understanding and love of Hawaii. He will help us run a dynamic grassroots campaign, focused on forging an even stronger, more prosperous future for the people of this state.”
