Caution: Hawaii State Judiciary Under Repair

The Hawaii State Judiciary is currently repairing and restoring the exterior and interior portions of Ali`iolani Hale, the historic building in downtown Honolulu that houses the Hawaii Supreme Court, Supreme Court Clerks Office, Law Library, King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center and other programs. The project is scheduled to last through the end of the year.

To minimize disruptions, much of the noise-generating work will occur during the evenings and weekends.

The History Center is still open to schools, tour groups and other visitors. The Supreme Court Clerks Office, Law Library, and other offices in the building are open as usual. Public use of the building for weddings and other special events, however, may be curtailed during the construction period. …
