The U.K.’s Daily Mail reports that National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden’s abandoned girlfriend is Lindsay Mills, a dancer who has supposedly performed with the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe. 

Another group, Honolulu Aerial Arts, also has a photo of the same Lindsay Mills posted on its Facebook page. 

Snowden is said to have left his girlfriend behind in Hawaii on May 20, when he left for Hong Kong after leaking information about a clandestine NSA surveillance program called PRISM. 

News media have reported that Snowden didn’t tell his girlfriend where he was going. 

Neighbors who lived near Snowden’s rented home in Royal Kunia said it appeared that the girlfriend lived with him. They said, however, that the couple was very quiet and didn’t converse with others living on the street. They said they rarely saw the alleged Mills. 

A real estate agent who was coincidentally showing the home in an “open house” Sunday said the couple had moved out about a month ago after the home’s owner decided to sell it.
