The Department of Public Safety (PSD) today announced the appointment of Robin Nagamine as State Sheriff. Nagamine will be in charge of the department’s Sheriff Division, effective June 3, 2013. …

Nagamine has been a deputy sheriff for 27 years and has worked in all sections within the Sheriff Division. This includes the Airport, Patrol, Courts, Receiving Desk, Special Operations, K-9 Training, Warrants and Administration. He also served as Acting Sheriff and Acting First Deputy at various times in his law enforcement career. …
