Schatz: Ridicule Climate Change Opponents

How do you win the war on climate change? Ridicule the opponents.

Or so says Sen. Brian Schatz, according to a report by Slate on Schatz’s comments at the Netroots Nation conference in San Jose, Calif. this weekend.

The idea apparently is to make comments against the existence of climate change as politically damaging as those stupid comments about rape last year were to some Republican Congressional candidates.
