Al Gore Endorses Brian Schatz for U.S. Senate

Former Vice President Al Gore is backing Brian Schatz in his Senate race.

In a press release provided by the Schatz campaign, Gore, a fellow Democrat and twice-failed presidential candidate, credited Schatz for his views on renewable energy.

Gore shared the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on climate change. Schatz is running against U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa.
