Sen. Mazie Hirono was among a number of Democrats who attended a Washington, D.C. fundraiser for Wendy Davis, the Texas state legislator who made headlines a month ago for filibustering an anti-abortion bill.

Hirono posted a photo from the event on her Facebook page, where she wrote, “I was proud this morning to stand with Wendy Davis after she stood up so valiantly for women’s health. She has a very bright future.”

According to Politico, Davis was in Washington, D.C. to hold the private fundraiser near the Capitol. She’s weighing whether to run for re-election or make a run at state-wide office.

According to the news site:

Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Patty Murray (D-Wash.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) made appearances at the morning event, as did Texas Democratic Reps. Pete Gallego, Marc Veasey and Sheila Jackson Lee. The suggested contribution was $500 per person and organizers billed it as a fundraiser for Davis’s state Senate campaign.
