The state Senate Committee on Transportation will convene at 1 p.m. Thursday (July 25) at the Capitol to hear from the state DOT:

“The purpose of this briefing by the Department of Transportation is to provide the Senate with an update on current work on Interstates H-1 and H-2 that includes: 1) The purpose, timelines, lane closures, cost and method of funding; 2) Information on how major roadway projects are planned, coordinated and implemented; and 3) Major highway projects planned for 2014.”

No public testimony will be accepted.
