6.0 Quake Rattles Japan

The earthquake Sunday morning was in the same region as the March 2011 quake that devastated northeastern Japan and sent a tsunami crashing ashore.

No tsunami warning was issued in conjunction with this morning’s shaker.

No major damage had been reported as of mid-day Sunday HST.
