Sen. Brian Schatz won the endorsement today of the National Association of Postal Supervisors, on top of the previous endorsement he received from the postal workers union.

The endorsement brings to 27 the number of union endorsements he’s received in his Senate re-election campaign against Rep. Colleen Hanabusa. His backing for continuing six-day mail delivery was apparently a main factor in the latest endorsement.

National Association of Postal Supervisors President Chuck Lum said in a statement released by the Schatz campaign, “We believe that his commitment to defending six day mail delivery, protecting rural post service, and standing up for working families make him the best choice to represent Hawaii in the Senate for years to come.”
