• Sen. Mazie Hirono took to the Senate floor in support of a bipartisan bill aimed and promoting energy efficiency in Hawaii and around the country. Read the press release and watch the video.

• Sen. Brian Schatz delivered a floor speech on the merits of the Affordable Care Act. Read the press release and watch the video.

• Rep. Colleen Hanabusa voted against H.R. 761, a bill that her office says would weaken “proper environmental reviews” of mining operations on public lands by reclassifying these operations as “infrastructure projects,” in order to “streamline the permitting process.” The measure now heads to the Senate. Gabbard also voted “no.”
