Here’s Gov. Neil Abercrombie’s public schedule for Friday and Saturday:

Friday:

• Community Alliance for Mental Health 2013 Conference, Hawaii State Hospital, Kaneohe, 11:30 a.m.

• Governor’s Reception, 2013 National Guard Association of the United States General Conference, Hawaii Convention Center, 5:30 p.m.

Saturday:

• 2013 National Guard Association of the United States General Conference, Hawaii Convention Center, 12:15 p.m.

• Hawaii County Fair, Hilo, Hawaii Island, 2:30 p.m.

From Sept. 24 to 26, Abercrombie and a state finance team will be in Los Angeles to meet with credit agencies on the state of Hawaii’s fiscal status and economy in conjunction with an anticipated upcoming state bond transaction. Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui will be acting governor during that time.
