The Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi at Manele Bay announced this afternoon it had partnered with Buccella, based in Yountville, to create the 2011 One Forty Cabernet Sauvignon, named for the resort’s One Forty American Steak Hawaiian Seafood restaurant and “carefully crafted to pair perfectly with the prime and wagyu beef” on the menu, according to the press release.
The restaurant takes its name from the island’s 140-square-mile area, reflecting its local sourcing (excluding wine, of course), and the 140-degree temperature of a medium-rare steak. …
The 140 cab costs $20 a glass and $90 a bottle. Ouch.
