UPDATE: New Facebook Page Spoofs Hawaii Anti-GMO Group

SUNDAY 9:30 a.m. — The website in question is no longer on Facebook, and Nomi Carmona has told Political Radar that the quote from her was fabricated.

EARLIER POST: Boobs Against Biology was launched Sept. 15 and already has seven “likes.”

It’s unclear exactly who the group is comprised of, or what its exact purpose is. The “About” section only says: “We are screaming, usually naked, women opposed to almost everything.”

It appears Hawaii-focused, however; there’s a snarky comment on Kauai Councilman Gary Hooser, for example. And someone identifying herself as Nomi Carmona, president of the real anti-GMO group Babes Against Biotech, has commented disapprovingly on the new Facebook site:

I find the “Boobs” organization to be in bad taste, and offensive to women. Our organization does not engage in full frontal nudity or actual obscene behavior. …
