Given that oral testifiers before the House Judiciary and Finance committees will be given 2 minutes each to speak on Senate Bill 1, simple math suggests that it will be a very long day.
The hearing begins at 10 a.m. in the Capitol Auditorium. The cut off to sign up to testify on the same-sex marriage bill in the House is midnight.
If that time comes and there are still lots of people who are signed up to speak, the House will recess at some point and continue the hearing tomorrow.
