The Second Special Session of 2013 will convene on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at 10 a.m. The Legislature has provided this link to follow and participate in events.

Look for the hearing notices listed toward the bottom of the page for information on how to submit testimony on Special Session measures.

In addition to taking up a marriage equality bill, which begins hearing testimony at 10:30 a.m. before the Senate Judiciary and Labor Committee, there are collective bargaining agreements to fund, making an appropriation to Kauai public hospitals and a number of judicial, board and commission appointments — some controversial.

The session is likely to last through this week and into early next week.
