Louise Kim McCoy, communications director and press secretary for Gov. Neil Abercrombie, is resigning at the end of this year.
She and her husband, Jim McCoy, are moving to the Pacific Northwest. Both are former Hawaii journalists, and McCoy has done public relations work.
Kim McCoy is the one of several top communications personnel to depart the Abercrombie administration in just three years. She previously worked for former Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle.
