A proposed high rise condominium on South Street in Kakaako has been raising concerns from lawmakers and community members recently but it’s only one of several projects being reviewed by the Hawaii Community Development Authority.

HCDA is a holding a public hearing on Nov. 6 at to discuss a proposed 7-story residential building at 803 Waimanu St. in Kakaako. The meeting is scheduled for noon at the agency’s office at 461 Cooke St., Honolulu.

Another public hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13 to discuss a proposed 4-story residential building in Kapolei. While Kakaako gets a lot of the attention, HCDA also has 3,700 acres it wants to develop near Barbers Point called Kalealoa. The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at HCDA’s office.

The organization also plans to host a general informational meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 5:30pm, according to its calendar
