That’s according to Moneyrates.com, which has ranked the best and worst states when it comes to youth unemployment, college costs, rental availability and costs, high-speed Internet availability, nightlife and fitness facilities.

Hawaii is ranked No. 6, behind No. 1 North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana and Iowa — all midwestern states where it snows a lot.

According to the Hawaii stats, we have 77 fitness clubs per million residents, the median rental cost is $1,379 (yikes) and the unemployment rate for people age 20-24 is 8.9 percent.

The worst states are West Virginia, Arizona, California, New Hampshire and (in last place) Maine.
