Retired Hawaii Supreme Court Justice James E. Duffy, Jr., has received the National Center for State Courts‘ Distinguished Service Award, one of the highest awards presented by the group.

The award is presented annually to those who have made “significant contributions to the justice system” and who have supported the mission of the NCSC. Duffy was honored last week at the Hawaii State Bar Association‘s convention.
