Sewage Spills Into Ala Wai Canal

A broken sewage pipe in Makiki has leaked 4,400 gallons of wastewater into a culvert leading into the Ala Wai Canal. 

The state Department of Health has posted signs warning residents to stay out of the canal in the area of South King Street and Kalakaua Ave.
