Hundreds — and likely well over a thousand and more — of folks have filled the Capitol Rotunda in anticipation of third reading of same-sex marriage legislation in the Hawaii House of Representatives.

Per security arrangements agreed upon yesterday, supporters and opponents are physically divided into separate camps. The crowds are peaceful, and lively, both sides hoping to prevail on Senate Bill 1.

The House begins floor deliberations at 10 a.m., but it is uncertain how long the day may last. But the House has the votes to pass SB 1 and send it to the Hawaii Senate.
