Garret Hashimoto of the Hawaii Christian Coalition is asking opponents of same-sex marriage to give money to the attorney handling a lawsuit against the state should Senate Bill 1 become law.
In an email this weekend, Hashimoto wrote, “Though the Legislators actually snubbed the request of the people to ‘Let the People vote,’ All is Not Lost. … We still have a lawsuit by Rep. Bob McDermott, myself, Pastor Kumia and Mr. Langdon. The second the Governor signs this bill against the wishes of the people, we will be in the court of Judge Sakamoto to ask him to hear our lawsuit. People, We Need Your Help. …
Let us thank and show our support to Atty’s Jack Dwyer, Bob Matsumoto and their staff. Please mail your donations by check and help us in our battle to Dwyer, Schraff, Meyer …
If you would rather make a donation through credit card, please log on to our website www.hichristian.org and click on donate, and we will get it to our Attorneys.
