The Hawaii Senate is set to meet at 10 this morning for a final vote on legislation that gives gay couples equal marriage rights as straight couples.

An amended version of Senate Bill 1 finally cleared the House late Friday. Senate leaders have said they’ll accept the measure, which will likely pass today in a 21-4 vote if all members are present.

Civil Beat will be blogging the action live today from the Capitol. Follow along at www.civilbeat.org.
