The Hawaii House of Representatives gaveled into session not long after 10 a.m. and soon recessed so Democrats could caucus behind closed doors. Here we go again — can we expect yet another round of floor amendments designed to delay the vote on same-sex marriage?

Meanwhile, folks in the media are complaining about slow Internet access. The Hawaii Legislature‘s free wifi may be overwhelmed by all the people at the Capitol on hand for the historic vote.

Some good news: House security is allowing audience members sitting in the gallery to visit the restroom, as long as they show I.D. The people are allowed to pee, then, if not vote.
