More than 60 people in Argentina had their Christmas Day disrupted when they were attacked by a swarm of biting piranhas. 

The meat-eating fish with razor sharp teeth bit at least one girl’s finger off, according to ABC news

Beach goers had been cooling off at a beach fed by the Parana River near Rosario in the midst of a heatwave.

Emergency personnel called the aggressive attack “not normal.”
