When President Barack Obama arrives on Oahu on Friday for his Christmas holiday, he will be met by more than just adoring supporters. Frostpaw the Polar Bear will also be on hand to remind the president that environmentalists are keeping a close eye on his Keystone XL Pipeline policy.

The Center for Biological Diversity, a Tuscon, Ariz.-based environmental group, is sending the bear out to Hawaii to deliver this message, according to a press release: “Keep your promises on climate change and give us a livable future by rejecting the Keystone XL Pipeline and its toxic tar-sands sludge.”

Between December 20 and January 3, Frostpaw will be attending local rallies around Oahu, according to the group, though the exact times and locations of his appearances are yet to be determined.

The President and his family will arrive on Air Force One Friday evening. They don’t have any scheduled public events during their trip, according to information from the White House.
