The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce will host a gubernatorial candidate forum featuring 2014 Democratic candidates Gov. Neil Abercrombie and State Sen. David Ige.
The forum, set for June 24 at the Japanese Cultural Center‘s Manoa Grand Ballroom in Moiliili, is being held in partnership with the Hawaii Association of Realtors, Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, Hawaii Independent Insurance Agents Association and Land Use Research Foundation.
“The candidates will discuss their views on critical issues affecting Hawaii’s future, including its economy, cost of living, educational system and energy independence,” says a press advisory.
Surronded by family and supporters, state Sen. David Ige files his gubernatorial nomination papers at the State Elections Office in Pearl City, June 2, 2014.
