Is 2014 the Year of the GMO?
Genetically modified organisms are energizing candidates and campaigns across the country.
This headline caught my eye this morning:
“GMOs Emerge As Campaign Issue, From Hawaii To Iowa”
The story in the International Business Times is interesting reading if you’re following the issue as it plays out here in the islands. GMOs have inspired candidates — for and against — in Hawaii’s legislative races. And of course there’s the Maui County ballot measure that has a whole lot of people riled up.
