Hawaii’s Tulsi Gabbard continues to make headlines, and the latest case involves a front page photo.
The congresswoman, a Democrat, is featured along with Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.) in the February issue of Washington Life magazine’s Young and the Guest List for 2015.
“These professionals from numerous fields and political persuasions are stealing headlines and helping make the world a better place,” the magazine explains, adding that Gabbard and Beutler, “have reached across party lines to pass legislation helping veterans and small business owners respectively.”

Inside, the story says that Gabbard is “known for her poise yet is not shy about speaking her mind, even when her opinions are not aligned to those of President Obama.”
Gabbard, the article explains, opposed Obama’s call for military strikes in Syria and sending advisors to Iraq.
Not mentioned is more recent criticism of the president from Gabbard regarding “Islamist extremism.”
