What’s the Future of Journalism in the Digital Age?
That’s the subject of a free talk Thursday night at UH Manoa, with Civil Beat and HuffPost Hawaii staff and a UH prof.

Investigative stories and local news updates.
Commentary, Analysis and Opinion.
Award winning in-depth reports and featured on-going series.
What are the news consumption habits of younger people? Is everything going mobile?
And is talking about print media just beating a dead horse? (Answer to that last question: yeppers.)
Those are some of the topics to be featured at a free public talk titled “Journalism in the Digital Age,” a discussion of the “changes and challenges” digital technologies bring to journalism and a look at what’s ahead.
It’s set for Thursday (March 19) at 7 p.m. in Krauss Hall 12 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
It will be moderated by Chad Blair (thats me!) with panelists James Cave of the Offsetter and HuffPost Hawaii; Chloe Fox of HuffPost; and Brett Oppegaard, UHM Communications Department.
Old school. Very old school.
