Marine Helicopter Crashes At Bellows Air Force Base

The crew may have been taking part in training exercises previously announced for Sunday at the Hawaii base.

One Marine is dead and 21 others are hospitalized after an MV-22 Osprey in which they were riding went down near Waimanalo on Oahu Sunday morning.

The incident is being described as a “hard-landing mishap.” Black smoke could be seen billowing in the area of the crash and bystanders took video.
