We told you how House Speaker Joe Souki has introduced legislation to allow Hawaii to have a lottery.
Vice Speaker John Mizuno has one, too, but his bill specifies that revenues would go to help the homeless.

“Moneys may be appropriated from the homeless special fund to reduce and address any homeless purpose upon approval by a two-thirds vote of each house of the legislature,” the bill explains.
Souki and Mizuno are Democrats.
