WATCH: Tourist Helicopter Crashes Near Arizona Memorial

Five people were aboard and all survived, according to the Coast Guard.

A helicopter carrying five people crashed Thursday near Pearl Harbor’s USS Arizona Memorial, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

All those aboard survived, the Coast Guard said. Their identities had not been released.

A Honolulu Emergency Services Department spokeswoman confirmed with KITV News that one passenger was in critical condition.

The helicopter is believed to be owned by Genesis Helicopters, based on a match of the craft’s number and model. The Honolulu-based company, founded by Jeff Gebhard, offers tours of Pearl Harbor and other areas around Oahu, according to the Genesis website.

Hawaii News Now reported the helicopter went down shortly after 10 a.m. off Ford Island. There was no immediate word on the extent of the injuries to those aboard or what may have gone wrong.
