Garret Hashimoto, state chairman of the Hawaii Christian Coalition, is celebrating President-elect Donald Trump.
In an email Thursday with the subject matter reading “The Revolution,” here’s what he had to say:
First we are grateful that our country has avoided the corruption of a Clinton presidency. We do not want to dwell on the failures of the Clinton’s or question the millions who voted for Hillary. We can only hope both Bill and Hillary turn to the Lord and use the hundreds of millions of dollars they have amassed to do actual good for people in need. We want to express our awe in what now is before the United States. After decades of failure we now have a president and congress who have the power to end federal funding for death institutions such as Planned Parenthood and much of the anti-Life anti-Christ agenda of the Hard Left. New constitutional minded Supreme Court judges may well overturn Roe vs Wade along with same sex marriage and most likely return these issues to individual states. We have much work to do in our own beloved state of Hawaii but for now we Thank God for His grace. We also salute all who sent up prayers and petitions to the throne of heaven for our nation and the answer which our Lord has graciously given. God Bless You!
The Hawaii Christian Coalition has often sought to influence island politics and policy.
