State should consider maybe it's not the BOE, it's the DOE.

As the Adjudicator Roy Takumi representing Governor Josh Green and the Hawaii Legislature Chair Takumi will seek to reaffirm and restòre the mission and purpose of the Department of Education. Eliminating dysfunction and rebuilding an efficient and effective Department is Chair Takumi's Charter.Department heads and staff selected to remain will be accepting new reforms established by Chair Takumi, including but not limited to new policies, procedures and practices. Past failures will be examined and analyzed to ensure they are not repeated. Immediate reforms will established and implemented. The voices and all concerns of students and parents will be reviewed and timely responses will be the order of the day. There will be no lapses in grants and financial resources due to oversights. Accountability and Responsibility will be enforced. We wish Chair Takumi the very best!
