My money is on little real change. Local government is systemically broke and unless there is major changes to theory, management and political stance, little will be different. It's a broken record with different tracks.

Save the tax payers money.Term limits.Meet every two years.Unicameral legislatureCut all departments by 10% (especially the DOE).Get rid of all double work from different departments. Done!

I have high hopes for the new speaker but she is only one voice The real problem is the democrats believe in subsidizing a problem instead of solving one. They increase cost of living . Take mass transit We and our grandchildren will pay when it could have been free. All they needed to do was charge an impact fee to property owners in transit district. Property values went up hundreds of dollars per square foot . If we had an impact fee of $20 per square foot building and maintaining could have been free. Look at photo voltaic works great on roof if owner occupant but condos and renters don’t have roofs so no benefits Solar farms are owned by wealthy mainland companies. We allow hundreds of millions going out of state If legislature required community solar condos all tenants owners and businesses could get same benefits a roof top solar and reduce our electricity cost and our cost of living.Again reducing our cost of living Taxing the REITS is another example of raising our cost of living and giving benefits to mainland owners. The list goes on and on Our legislature fails to follow the money. They consistently give the financial benefits away and make us pay the cost .
