Rachel Zalucki was an intern at Honolulu Civil Beat.

She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in investigative journalism in May 2020.

She specializes in multimedia reporting and data visualizations but is always ready to learn more. She worked at the Columbia Missourian as a public life reporter and a graphic designer. She also worked with the Reynolds Journalism Institute as a regional coordinator for the Missouri Info Needs Project, which aimed to aid rural newsrooms in informing their communities about the COVID-19 pandemic.
